Introducing Emery Alise | Connersville Area Newborn Photographer

This past week, I was able to go visit one of my closest friends while she, her husband, and her two boys eagerly awaited the arrival of their beautiful daughter.  Wednesday night, she went in for a scheduled induction because the ultrasounds had shown no growth for the baby girl in the past couple weeks, and they showed a very weak placenta.  I stayed at their home with the boys and in the morning, I got them off to school.  I headed to Starbucks and as I pulled into the hospital parking lot, I got a text that Jess was 8 cm.  (When I left the house less than half an hour earlier than that, she was only at a 4).  By the time I got up to labor and delivery, she was practically pushing and I got a text, within seconds almost of walking through the elevator, that I could come on back and meet miss Emery.

I was able to capture so many first moments immediately after the birth and it was so amazing to be there and experience this!

Emery Alise was born at 39 and a half weeks, weighing 7 lb and 15 oz. How amazing is that??? The doctors were suprised, as were mommy and diddy :)

Brand new to the world, and already breaking hearts....she is absolutely precious!

This is one proud father who is already wrapped around that precious girl's finger =]

Time to snuggle with momma for a bit...

Time to get all cleaned up...

Diddy took this time to leave and go pick up the anxious big brothers from school. Momma and I took this time to sneak in a few more pics.  How could we not want to play dress up with this beautiful girl?!

Christian and Leighton, meeting Emery for the first time...

Leighton's first question, of course, was how the doctors got Emery out.

Jason's mom arrived, I took a few more pictures, and then I left so they could spend some time together as a family.  I am so thankful I was able to be apart of such a special day.  Congratulations Jason, Jess, Christian, and Leighton.  Emery is perfect.
